After much thought and consideration we (Françoise Weeks, Miles Johnson of Fiori Floral Design, and myself) have decided to award two scholarships to our upcoming Three Day Workshop – “Foraged & Local”.
Congratulations to Christina Shay and Robin Taber!
Both Christina and Robin impressed us with their passion for flowers and their eagerness to learn. Both ladies will be coming to us from the state of Colorado!

Robin Taber Blue Door Farm
Robin is a flower farmer and floral designer located in Grand Junction, Colorado – the name of her business is Blue Door Farm. Robin impresses is with her drive and determination to not let any obstacle get in her way.
We look forward to working with Robin as she explores new facets of floral design and tries out new styles. Robin can be found on Instagram at @bluedoorfarm

Christina Shay
Christina will be traveling to us from Colorado Springs, Colorado. She entered the floral business less than a year ago and is quite the hustler jumping right into the work. Christina’s fearlessness is what impressed us the most.
Christina’s long term goal is to become a farmer florist. She can be found on Instagram at @christinashay
We are looking forward to meeting both Robin & Christina and welcoming them to the Pacific Northwest and being part of their journeys into the floral industry.
Françoise, Miles and I are all so passionate about flowers and the floral industry – and helping others who would like to learn! All three of us clearly remember our early days in this fascinating industry!
