Thank you to Heather of Love Flowers Shenandoah for sharing this classic and romantic June 2015 Wedding with us!
Hidden in the hills of West Virginia, this couple found the perfect venue for their June 2015 wedding at the Barn of York Hill. Although the weather was a bit stormy, they made the absolute best of their rainy day with creative lead by their talented photographer, Natural Bliss Photography. The gorgeous setting surrounded by lush apple orchards, a small vineyard, and panoramic views of the encompassing natural beauty made this location a perfect site to design florals for a wedding of rustic elegance.
Going for a palette of merlot and blush we choose to design with David Austin Darcey roses, and California blooms from Florabundance which included dahlias, red & pink astilbe, white calycina, rice flower, agonis afterdark, continus smokebush, and our studios absolute favorite… burgundy scabiosa. Additional accent flowers included quicksand & sahara roses, green and red amaranth, and novelty antique carnations.
Our favorite piece of the day was the Bridal Bouquet. The bride said “Heather’s work far surpassed my greatest expectations. The result was beyond what I could have imagined. Our guests enthusiastically said that the flowers that she and her team arranged made the event.”
